生体信号(脳波・筋電)の取得

  • Rodent等の生体信号(EEG、EMGなど)をA/D変換器へ接続し、デジタルデータとして収録します。
  • ビデオ収録・再生オプションを用いることで、暗視カメラ等の映像も同時に収録することできます。
  • 対応している他社の計測機器で収録されたデジタルファイルを直接読み込むことも可能です。

睡眠深度のスクリーニングと視察判定

  • EEGの周波数成分、EMGの積分値などを用いて睡眠深度を自動でスクリーニングします。
  • スクリーニングロジックは全て公開しており、判定された理由がわかります。
  • スクリーニング後は、生データやトレンドデータ、周波数スペクトル等を多角的に見ながら視察判定が行えます。

■エピソード解析

<StageGraph機能>

単位時間当たりの各エピソードの出現量を算出します。
オプションのデータ集計ツール「SG Summary」を用いることで、簡単に出現量を求めることができます。

<Vigilance State機能>

各エピソードの出現回数や持続時間を算出します。
オプションのデータ集計ツール「VS Summary」を用いることで、複数匹の解析結果ファイルから簡単にステージ遷移の回数とEpisode count per durationの平均値・SDを算出することができます。

■周波数解析

<Average FFT機能>

単位時間エピソード毎の平均周波数スペクトルを算出します。

上図は、明期(左)と暗期(右)におけるNonREMの平均周波数スペクトルをWild Type MouseとKnock Out Mouseを比較したものです。設定した単位時間ごとの変化を見ることができます。

SleepSignでは、アーチファクトが混入したエポックに印をつけることで平均周波数スペクトルに加えないことができます(エピソード解析には影響しません)。


オプションプログラム1 – FFTマルチスクリーニング

本機能は、ステージ判定に要する作業時間を大幅に改善するために開発されたプログラムです。
FFTによる解析結果を利用することにより、「簡単」かつ「多くのデータを一括で」スクリーニングすることが出来るようになります。

  • 複数匹分のスクリーニングが一括で行えます
    ※ 複数匹分のスクリーニングを一括で行うためには、一部制限がございます。

  • スクリーニングの処理時間が大幅に向上します。
    24時間分のデータを 約5分 でスクリーニングします。

    ※ 処理時間は、パソコンの性能や解析条件(フィルタの有無など)、データの種類などにより変わります。
    ※ 本機能は、従来の波形認識法は利用できません。周波数(FFT)解析を利用したスクリーニングのみです。

オプションプログラム2 – ビデオ収録・再生

本機能は、動画像の収録と再生を行うために開発されたプログラムです。
「VideoOption」を利用することにより、動画像と生体信号(脳波、筋電図など)の同時再生が可能になります。詳しくは、こちら

オプションプログラム3 – EDFヘッダー変更ツール

EDF形式で収録されたデータをSleepSignで利用できるようヘッダー情報の一部を変更することができます。
※収録装置の仕様によって必要な場合があります。

オプションプログラム4 – データ集計ツール

本機能は、データ集計に要する作業時間を大幅に改善するために開発されたプログラムです。
睡眠の量(ステージ出現時間)や睡眠の質(エピソードの出現回数や持続時間)の集計に最適です。

SleepSignから出力された解析結果ファイル(*.raf)を利用し、データ集計を行い、結果をExcel用のデータとして出力するツールです。
複数匹の解析結果から平均値やSDを算出しますので、集団の傾向を把握したい場合などに有用です。
SleepSignでは得られないパラメータも算出することが可能で、解析する区間は、30分、1、3、4、6、12、24時間からお選びいただけます。

データ集計ツールは、以下2つのツールから構成されています。

  • Stage graph集計ツ−ル「SG summary」
    ステージ出現時間について集計を行うツールです。
    複数匹の解析結果から、各睡眠ステージにおける出現時間の平均値とSDを算出します。
    (SleepSignでは、ステージ出現時間を算出する機能を「Stage graph」と呼んでいます。)

     
  • Vigilance state集計ツ−ル「VS summary」
    ステージ遷移の回数や各ステージの持続時間を集計するツールです。
    (1)ステージ遷移回数の平均とSD

    ※ ステージ遷移回数とは、睡眠段階が変わった回数をカウントしたものです。
    例えば「Wake→Non-REM」や「REM→Wake」など、ステージが移行した回数をカウントする機能です。
    この機能は、SleepSignにはございません。本ツールのみの機能です。

    (2)「Episode count per duration」集計値の平均とSD

    ※ 各睡眠ステージがどれだけ持続したのかをカウントし、集計したものです。
    例えば、指定した区間内に30秒以上60秒未満の連続したステージが何回あったのかカウントする機能です。短いエピソードを排除するための有効エピソード長の設定機能も有しています。
    (SleepSignでは、エピソードの出現回数や持続時間を算出する機能を「Vigilance state」と呼んでいます。)
